Cuando leía sobre estas técnicas llamadas experimentales en fotografía en algún momento salía el argumento que se trataban de “obras efímeras”. Nunca entendí por qué se consideraba que una antotipia fuera efímera y una fotografía digital no. Todo es cuestión de tiempo-espacio. Esta antotipia realizada con con lombarda  de la muralla de la antigua medina de Sefrou (Marruecos)  desapareció después de olvidarla en mi escritorio durante una semana. El papel devino blanco.  Consevo una fotografía hecha con el móvil. La reproducción digital de la antotipia que hice con el móvil también es efímera. Porque todo es efímero.

WHAT DOES EPHEMERAL ART MEAN?

When I read about these so-called experimental techniques in photography at some point the argument came out that they were «ephemeral works». I never understood why an antotype was considered ephemeral and a digital photograph not. It is all a matter of time-space. This antotype made with red cabbage from the wall of the old medina of Sefrou (Morocco) disappeared after forgetting it on my desk for a week. The paper became white. I get a photograph taken with the mobile. The digital reproduction of the anthotype that I made with my mobile phone is also ephemeral. Because everything is ephemeral.
